About Me
Stats: I am 5'7", 230#, Shaved head, Hazel eyes (two of them), mixed race (St. Maarten, St. Croix, Irish and German) and I am 42 years old. I am gay and I identify as a bear.
Interests: My interests are wide and varied. They include:
Computers, anything technical, music, cooking, racing, travel, and hanging out with friends. I am in the process of getting my private pilot's license (I have about 10 hours of flying time so far). I also love photography and art.
My Personality: I am a typical Virgo and I have an intense sense of humor (which can be caustic at times). I love life and I have a passion for living. I am always doing something new whether it is taking on a new challenge
or traveling somewhere new. I am a very independent person and I am fairly aggressive (so I've been told). I can be your best friend or your worst enemy; it all depends on how I am treated. Respect is extremely important to me.
I have spent more time single than in relationships. I am an only child and I don't have a problem spending time alone, I enjoy my company. I am not looking to get involved with anyone right now but, if I were to get involved with someone
they would have to be a true "partner". For me a relationship means shared responsibility, "I've got their back and they've got mine". They should be independent, responsible and caring. I am not looking for someone who is going to rely
on me for everything (like the 1950's definition of a wife). They should also be fairly intelligent, able to hold a conversation and like to travel. If a major upheaval of my life is required for me to be with a person, I'd rather be alone.
I have no interest in getting involved with someone under the age of 35 either. No matter how "smart" or "together" a twenty-something or early thirty-something thinks they are, they don't have 35+ years of life experience (which counts for a lot).
As far as friends, I surround myself with positive, progressive people. I have a small group of very close friends, most of whom I have known anywhere from 10 to almost 30 years. I could do a better job at keeping in contact with some of them.
Other Stuff: I am a Computer Consultant and I am self employed (I own my own company). I have been in Information Technology since 1985, I have been working with Internet technologies since 1993 and I have been designing Web
sites since 1995. I have also performed Electronic Engineering work for a government contractor. I love anything technical or science related. I design microcontroller based circuits, I write software and I build my own PCs. I also love music.
I used to DJ parties, but now I just mix at home. I do some remixing and I also create my own beats. I am getting back into building my own gear too. When I am not in a relationship I *LOVE* to hook-up. I love men, I love sex and I am on many
of the cruise boards. I prefer Latino and Black men (especially short and/or stocky). I am generally not attracted to skinny guys. Those traits are not set in stone though. I only play safe but that doesn't mean I don't know how to have a good time!
